Here's some examples of how to increase storage and functionality using cabinet solutions from Oak Point Wood Works.
Custom arch-top cabinet with glass shelves and a pull-out serving table designed to fit within an existing arch opening in the dining room.
This is the other side of the custom arch top china cabinet. No access to the lower storage from this side, but upper doors open on this side as well.
Custom cabinetry designed to replace a loft railing giving the customer new storage and display space as well as sound dampening.
This is the back side of the loft cabinets. 3/4" back is connected to the cabinets with screws and cabinet is anchored to the floor and ceiling. Just as strong as a wall, just more useful.
Built-in storage cabinets and shelving designed to close an open loft space, essentially creating an additional room for the homeowner.
This is the back side of the previous cabinets. What was once a loud open loft is now a closed off home office with plenty of storage.
Custom book case with small end shelves to accommodate the homeowners nick nack collection. This cabinet is built in but could also be designed as free standing furniture.
Bookshelf made from red oak with a cherry stain.
Custom built entertainment center cabinet designed to utilize an existing recessed area beside the fireplace.
This cabinet was made out of Ash and stained gunstock brown to match the existing mantel. Short door above lower doors flips down to allow access to entertainment system.
This is an Oak built in entertainment center that was installed unfinished (customer wanted to finish it themselves). Cabinet featured smoked glass in upper doors to allow remote to control entertainment equipment.
One view of another loft area that we converted into an office using cabinets. Upper and lower cabinets and counter tops all built and finished by OPWW.
Bookcase designed, built and installed by OPWW. The bookcase conceals a hidden play room under the stairs.
This is the back side of the previous loft office. Back of cabinets were painted to match wall color prior to installation. All cabinet finishing was done prior to installation.
Here is a recessed area next to a bedroom that is basically unusable space
Here is the same space seen in the previous photo with a shelving unit installed. We built it with adjustable shelving and painted it prior to installation. 5 minute install and you have shelving!
