Shutters

Here are some examples of shutters made by Oak Point Wood Works, LLC.
This Bermuda shade was made for a custom home is Frisco, Tx. These shutters are made of 2X cedar.  All verticle boards are biscut joined and cross boards are secured with water proof glue and glue coated galvanized staples. Cedar Z Buck with Planter Here, 1X cedar shutter has been built to customer specifications with diamond cutout between the verticle boards. These shutters are actually Faux louver (look like louvered shutters but aren't).  This is a lower cost option we came up with a few years ago at OPWW. Arch pattern was made and installed by OPWW prior to brick to create a support for arch brick soldier course to make sure shutters would fit. Large raised panel shutters. These shutters were built to shield this outside kitchen from the morning sun.  Frame and shutters were made at OPWW's shop then installed.
