Here is what the cook top area look like before the remodel. Electric cook top, drawers underneath. Here wer the lights of the kitchen prior to the remodel. On surface lighting wasn't really positioned correctly for working in the kitchen. Lots of shadows on counter tops and work areas. Surface mounted lights were positioned too close to the cabinets so they did not illuminate the counters correctly.
Here is what the kitchen had before for an oven, a conventional electric 24" oven mounted next to the fridge. Too small for a growing family. Here is the kitchen with the surface lights removed and can lights installed further from the upper cabinets so that light is projected on the work surfaces. Here is the cabinet after we removed the wall oven and the old microwave. Here is another look at the repurposed former wall oven area. Again, we also changed all the surface hinges to hiden Euro hinges.
Here is the kitchen after installing a new gas cook top and electric convection oven under the gas cook top. Also, we changed all the exposed cabinet door hinges to hidden Euro hinges and touched up paint on the doors and cabinets to complete the nice clean look. Here is a better view of the new cooking center. We modified the lower cabinet on site for the oven and ran new gas line and electric for the new gas cook top. Here is the same cabinet area with new microwave and 2 custom drawers that have replaced the very small wall oven. Drawers provide storage lost when the cabinet under the cook top was modified to receive the new 30" convection oven. Area above new drawers will also have custom doors made and installed by us.
